“The Butcher” Andy Williams died at age 48 following an in-ring medical emergency, AEW statement

“The Butcher” Andy Williams died on Saturday night after collapsing during an Enjoy Wrestling independent show in Millvale, Pennsylvania, at Mr. Smalls Theatre. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed the news of Williams’ death with TMZ.com.

Powell’s POV: Awful. My heart goes out to Williams’ family and friends. AEW issued a statement on Williams’ death that can be viewed below. Outside pro wrestling, Williams was the rhythm guitarist for the band Every Time I Die before its breakup in 2022. He also formed the band Atomic Rule.
