NXT TV
Orlando, Florida, at the WWE Performance Center
Aired live November 4, 2025, on The CW Network
[Hour One] Vic Joseph and Booker T were on commentary. Mike Rome was the ring announcer. Vic announced that All Ego Ethan Page and Chelsea Green won the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships (apparently defeating La Hiedra and Mr. Iguana for the belts)…
Entrances for the opening match took place…
1. Lola Vice, Tatum Paxley, and Izzi Dame (w/Shawn Spears, Niko Vance) vs. “Fatal Influence” Jacy Jayne, Fallon Henley, and Lainey Reid. Jayne and Tatum traded right hands to start the match. Vice tagged in and hit Jayne in the corner with CQC. Jayne staggered Lola with a kick and tagged in Lainey. Lola countered Lainey into a quick Juji Gatame that Lainey escaped. Izzi tagged in, but was caught by Lainey’s crossbody. Izzi body slammed and gave Lainey a running Senton.
Tatum tagged in and gave Lainey a splits elbow drop for a one count. Fallon tagged in and worked on Tatum with methodical offense. Lola tagged in. Lola and Tatum hit Lainey and Fallon with Lola’s signature I’m a Latina hip attack. Lola and Tatum shook their booty cheeks and Izzi didn’t want to join in.[c]
Fatal Influence cut the ring in half on Lola Vice back from break. Tatum caught the hot tag and cleaned house with right hands and a dropkick. Tatum caught Lainey and Jacy with crossbodies in the corners. Tatum took down Fallon with a enzuigiri. Fallon dodged a 450 and rolled up Tatum for a two count. Tatum dropped her weight for a nearfall on Tatum. Fallon hit Tatum with a facebuster after she ate a right hand from Lainey. Izzi broke up Tatum’s pin.
Izzi rolled Tatum on top of Fallon for a two count. Tatum hit Fallon with a Pumphandle Lightning Spiral. All the women took turns hitting signature moves to leave everyone on the mat. A “women’s wrestling” chant ensued. Izzi and Jacy tagged in. Izzi was distracted with Tatum when Tatum was supposed to be out of the ring. Jacy surprised Izzi with a Rolling Encore after Izzi took the bullet for Tatum. Jacy picked up the pinfall.
Fatal Influence defeated Izzi Dame, Tatum Paxley, and Lola Vice via pinfall in 10:39.
John’s Thoughts: A fun show opening match that showcases some of NXT’s female depth while heating up Jacy Jayne back for her rematch at the Women’s Championship. Side note, Lainey Reid already feels like an upgrade over Jazmyn Nyx in terms of how further along she is. She is a lot more expressive in terms of facials and is a lot further along in the ring (Lainey is also a NIL project). The finish of this match was solid. as while everyone expects Izzi to turn on Tatum at any moment, any time she shows she might be genuinely looking out for Tatum adds intrigue to the program (even though my thought is that Izzi is trying to put Tatum in a false sense of security around her so she can pick up the easy win over Tatum. Hence why she is so protective of Tatum because Izzi sees Tatum as an easier target than the rest of the women’s title contender field).
The show cut to Grande Americano, Rayo, and Bravo scouting the NXT locker room. They were talking trash in spanish, subtitled. Josh Briggs showed up and said the Americanos might be a big deal, but he’s bigger. Briggs challenged Americano to a standard match. Grande accepted…
Kelani Jordan explaining her heel actions was hyped for after the break…[c]
A replay of the end of last week’s main event aired, where Kelani Jordan retained the championship after smashing Jordynne Grace in the face with the Knockouts Title belt. A Jordynne Grace tweet was shown where Grace showed off the scratches she got from the belt shot. The show then cut to a Lei Ying Lee tweet video where she called Jordan disrespectful to the title and how she’s going to take the title off Kelani…
Wren Sinclair, Karmen Petrovic, Tyra Mae Steele, and Kendal Grey were happy go lucky and chatting backstage. Kelani Jordan showed up and talked down to the developmental women. She then headed over to the ring, making her entrance…
Kelani Jordan made her entrance with a serious look on her face. Jordan said she did everything she could to keep the championship, by any means necessary. She said you could say it’s out of character for her. Jordan asked everyone why they cheer when Dom Mysterio and Cody Rhodes used a belt shot to retain their title. Jordan said everyone was a hypocrite.
Jordan said an opportunity presented herself and she took it when she won the Knockouts Championship. She said she tried to do things the honorable way by representing a legendary title. Kelani said instead the fans booed her and the locker room called her a traitor. Jordan said she was kicked out of the locker room by women who haven’t done as much as her in the division. She said she’s been a standout since her tryout in Nashville many years ago.
Kelani said the sad thing is the the fans don’t care about success because they change their minds every week. Jordan said the crowd only cares about who’s fits the narratives, girls with fat asses and catchphrases. She said they should care about the most elite athlete to step foot in the ring. Jordan said she gets dubbed public enemy number one after using the belt to hit the fan favorite Grace. She said the fans aren’t fans, they’re followers.
She said she’s not going to be like Tatum and handing out title shots, it’s time to be selfish now. Kelani said she’s going to take a break during Gold Rush because there’s no one worthy of a title shot. Jordan said Lei Ying Lee isn’t on her radar and even loss the title match that she won the vacant title in. Jordan said you can call her a trator, disloyal, or whatever, but the one thing you need to throw in there is calling her “Champion”. Jordan dropped the mic and exited the ring…
Vic hyped Briggs vs. Americano for after the break…[c]
John’s Thoughts: Awesome villain origin story promo that made her heel turn make logical sense. Jordan presented herself as one of those villains who are kinda right (the fans were kinda hypocrites and the locker room was written to look petty). “Fat asses and catchphrases” was a great bar to call out shallow fans. NXT has been testing out turning Kelani heel for over a year, but they were really wishy-washy and not having her go fully over. She’s clearly fully over now and I’m looking forward to see her run with the ball as far as possible. As I also mentioned before and they don’t have to pull the trigger immediately, I wouldn’t mind Jordan eventually adopting her mentor’s stable, The Elegance Brand, as I think it would really give her more ethos and more heat.
Sarah Schreiber interviewed Lucien Price and Bronco Nima about why they attacked the tag team division a few weeks ago. They said they are going to do thing different. Nima said they made an example of the locker room a few weeks ago. Price said they want silence to shake up the room. Kale Dixon and Uriah Dixon showed up and didn’t like what OTM did. Andre Chase calmed them down and asked them if pissing off OTM was a good idea?…
Josh Briggs and his Spirit Halloween Skull buddy made their entrance. Los Americanos made their entrance…
2. El Grande Americano (w/El Bravo Americano, El Rayo Americano) vs. Josh Briggs. Briggs dominated the match early on with a shove. Americano came back with a dropkick. Americano hit Briggs with a Armdrag into an Armbar. Americano used a handstand for leverage and then changed the move to a Hammerlock. Americano hit Briggs with a PK (which Booker called a Pele Kick (?)), Jasper Troy showed up in the crowd.
Briggs turned a distracted Americano inside-out with a clothesline. Troy sat in the crowd area.[c]
A “Briggs is stupido” chant ensued. Booker T claimed that he has “sources” from the main roster who say that Josh Briggs is the man. Booker then plugged his Hall of Fame Podcast during the Netflix break. Back from break, Americano hit Briggs with a Jawbreaker and right hands. Briggs came back with a Body Slam and splash for a nearfall. Americano rallied back with chops.
Briggs tripped Americano off the top rope and put him in the Tree of Woe. Briggs gave Briggs boots from the Tree of Woe. Briggs then did the most disrespectful thing of going after the Luchador’s match. Americano took down Briggs with a diving shoulder block. Americano rallied with chest slaps and a crossbody. Americano rallied with shoulder tackles. Briggs lowered his weight to block a suplex.
Americano hit Briggs with a discus lariat. Americano hit Briggs with a a Tightrope Blockbuster. Americano hit Briggs with an impressive Suicide Dive. Briggs grabbed a distracted Americano, who was celebrating, and tossed him off the ropes like a backboard. Tavion Heights showed up (wearing some goofy looking small backpack for now reason). Rayo and Bravo gave Briggs a cheap shot double Backstabber. Grande hit Briggs with a Back Stretch Submission for the win.
El Grande Americano defeated Josh Briggs via Submission in 10:49.
John’s Thoughts: I’m not a huge fan of them going back to using Briggs to enhance more important wrestlers as it looked like he was starting to pick up steam. At least they protected him in the end, I guess? What Briggs did help enhance of Grande was showing that Grande is a Grande dude. El Hijo Del Axel Dieter is deceptively large and it’s impressive to see that he can do the high flying Lucha style in addition to his native Euro strong style. Weird that NXT has him lined up against heels, but Grande is a de facto babyface as a lovable comedy bad guy act. What’s also an interesting situation is that because the guy speaks such good Spanish, the Mexican fans have really taken to him due to him coming off as respectful to their culture.
GM Ava caught up with Kelani Jordan in the lounge with the women’s locker room. Ava told Jordan that she has to defend her title. Jordan said Ava isn’t in charge of the TNA locker room and title. Tyra Mae Steele stood up to Kelani to tell her not to disrespect the GM. Ava got in between the and booked a match…
Ricky Saints was on his way to an interview backstage. He dapped it up with Myles Borne who told Saints to leave a piece of Trick for him…[c]
A replay aired of Chelsea Green and Ethan Page defeating Mr. Iguana and La Hiedra for the AAA Mixed Tag Team Championships last Sunday. There were a lot of kids and fans in Chelsea Green gear in the crowd…
[Hour Two] Vic Joseph then hosted a split screen interview between both Ricky Saints and Trick Williams. Trick pointed out Ricky being banged up and how he can’t handle the pressure. Ricky talked about Trick not being able to handle things and he showed it by throwing a fit last week. Ricky said instead of being a man, Trick tried to hold the show hostage because of his ego.
Trick said he’s 2nd to none. Trick said it took Ricky a long time to get to the top, but he still doesn’t understand what it takes to carry the brand. Ricky said Trick has had one foot out of the door in NXT since Ricky got her. Ricky said Trick only sees the title as a secruity blanket, but to Ricky it’s the representation of a man that works hard. Ricky said he can take NXT to heights that Trick failed to do. Ricky said Trick takes everything for granted, and not him.
Trick said Ricky is calling himself a man of the people, but he looks like a fan. Trick said the title belongs to a star like Trick Williams. Trick said he’ll be the last man standing. Ricky said Trick wears delusion like it’s designer apparel. Ricky said they should throw hands now. Both men left the interview sets…
The camera cut to Trick and Ricky trading hands backstage. Trick crumpled Ricky by hitting him in the gut with a home run swing from a lead pipe. Trick put the title belt on Ricky and walked away. Vic and Booker hyped Ricky vs. Trick in a Last Man Standing match for next week…
Zaria made her entrance to Kevin Kross’s TNA theme. Sol Ruca accompanied Zaria and was no longer on crutches. She was wearing a knee brace…
An ad aired for the NXT Deadline PLE and included Iron Survivor Matches…[c]
Wren Sinclair and Evolve Champion Kendal Grey made their entrances…
3. Sol Ruca (w/Zaria ) vs. Wren Sinclair (w/Kendal Grey) in a first round match of the Women’s WWE Speed Tournament. Zaria slowed down Wren with a clothesline and backbreaker. Booker talked about how her friendship with Sol stalled her career when it looked like she was going to be a champion from her debut (Booker’s right). Wren rolled up Zaria for a two count. Wren hit Zaria with a dropkick and chest slaps.
Zaria ran through Wren with a clothesline and hit her with a Mafia Kick. The One Minute Warning aired. Wren put Zaria in a Fujiwara Armbar. Vic noted Zaria might be hurt from Halloween Havoc. Zaria escaped, hit Wren with a Spear and F5 for the victory.
Zaria defeated Wren Sinclair via pinfall in 2:31 to advance to the finals of the Women’s WWE Speed Tournament.
Vic hyped Fallon Henley vs. WWE LFG Season 2 winner Skylar Raye in the other half of the Women’s Speed Bracket…
Je’von Evans was shown warming up backstage…
TNA Knockouts Champion Kelani Jordan made her entrance…[c]
John’s Thoughts: Booker T accurately pointed out Zaria’s problem in WWE. He just repeated what I’ve been saying. Zaria came in the same time as Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer and was surprisingly the most impressive of the three off rip, only to have her career derailed once they put her in a weird friendship with Sol Ruca. I will never understand why they pulled the rug from Zaria like that when they looked like they potentially had something special. Well, at least they are righting things, but I fear that they’ll turn Sol Ruca heel, which I would find just as baffling.
Olympic Gold Medalist Tyra Mae Steele made her entrance…
4. TNA Knockouts Champion Kelani Jordan vs. Tyra Mae Steele in a non-title match. Steele took down Jordan with a takeover. Jordan reversed a Sunset Flip, but the referee didn’t count due to Jordan holding the rope. Steel used an Alligator roll on Jordan’s leg and put Jordan in a Bow and Arrow Submission. Jordan and Steele traded rapid rollups. Jordan focused her offense on attacking Steele’s left arm.
Steele rallied with right arm lariats. Steele hit Jordan with a Flapjack. Stelle hit Jordan with a corner ass to face. Steele hit Jordan with a Argentine Drop for a nearfall. Jordan recovered and hit Steele with the One of a Kind Moonsault for the win.
Kelani Jordan defeated Tyra Mae Steele via pinfall in 4:58 in a non-title match.
TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella appeared on the big screen from what looked like his hotel room. He said Jordan will defend the title at Gold Rush against “Lady” Lee (Lei Ying Lee/Xia Li) and Jordynne “Gra Chay” (Jordynne Grace) in a triple threat match…
Sol Ruca and Zaria were chatting with Ava backstage. Sol noted that the doctor gave her good news and she wants a title match at Gold Rush. Ava said Sol won’t be 100% until a month. Sol said she’ll be okay before then. Zaria said that would be great if she and Sol can win the Speed and NA titles back.
Fatal Influence showed up to brag about possibly winning the Speed and Women’s title. Ava told everyone to get out because she’s busy picking NXT wrestlers to compete in the John Cena Last Time is Now tournament. While leaving, Zaria said “I’d love me some John Cena” (DAYMM!) while Sol did Cena’s ” doo-doo doo-doo”…
Je’von Evans made his entrance…[c]
John’s Thoughts: Given how intense Zaria looks, there’s the potential for some insane fan fiction involving Cena and Zaria! Hey! Zaria made me think of it by shooting her Cena shot (Cena is a married man, so this is nothing other than a fan fiction shot)!
Vic Joseph hyped up War Pigs as the theme song for Survivor Series (as usual). Vic noted that if you buy both the Ozzy Osborne and Judas Priest versions of the song, all the proceeds will be donated to Parkinson’s disease cure research (awesome!)…
DarkState made their entrance. Evans gave DarkState a dive before the bell. The bell ran once shugars and Evans were in the ring…
5. Je’von Evans vs. Saquon Shugars (w/Dion Lennox, Cutler James, Osiris Griffin). Shugars got control after hitting a delayed reverse Atomic Drop. Evans came back with a kidney punch, clothesline, and running Banzai Drop. Evans ran off the body of a standing Shugars and hit him with an Inverted Springboard Huracanrana. Dion yelled at Shugars and tossed him back in the ring. Shugars took down Je’von and put the boots to him.
Evans backdropped Shugars and gave him a Plancha. Vic noted that Shugars and Evans were signed to WWE contracts on the same day. James distracted Evans which allowed Shugars to use a jump kick to knock him off the apron.[c]
Back from break, Shugars had Evans in a modified Gory Special. Evans escaped and rolled up Shugars for a two count. Evans gave Shugars double boots to the jaw. Shugars hit Evans with a nice release Suplex into a cartwheel dropkick for a nearfall. Shugars paintbrushed Je’von’s face with boots which fired him up. Evans hit Shugars with an impressive seated springboard German Suplex. Evans worked on Shugars with medium footsies and strikes in the corner.
Dion dragged Shugars to ringside to fire him up. Evans overshot, but hit Shugars with a darting Suicide Dive. Evans hit Shugars with a high slingshot crossbody and flip overhead kick. Shugars crotched Evans on the top rope and hit Evans with a Sitout Burning Hammer. Evans dodged a dive and surprised Shugars with an RKO and springboard RKO. Griffin dragged Shugars to ringside to break the pin.
Evans sidestepped and slammed the Darkstate members at ringside. Evans hit Shugars with a Corkscrew Cross Body Block for the win.
Je’von Evans defeated Saquon Shugars via pinfall in 13:32.
John’s Thoughts: On one hand they made DarkState look a bit weak getting beat by a singular Je’von Evans, but at the same time Evans had to pluck one out by using his speed to stall them in the end enough to get the pinfall on Shugars. I do like that it helps develop Evans. What I don’t like is that they sacrificed the talented Shugars to do so. I personally see Shugars as the guaranteed star out of DarkState, but I wonder based off presentation if WWE thinks Dion Lennox is the breakout star of the group (they had him stand out last week while also putting a spotlight on him this week). If I would have sacrificed a member of DarkState, why not do it to Booty Warrior Cutler?
Ricky Saints vs. Trick Williams in a Last Man Standing Match for the NXT Championship and El Grande Americano vs. Jasper Troy for the Speed Championship was hyped for next week…
Blake Monroe was chatting with Ava backstage and said she wants her first title defense to be glamourous and in New York. Ava said if medical clears Sol Ruca, she’ll get the title shot since she didn’t lose the title in the first place. Blake’s theme played as her ringtone as she answered. Blake said “my better half” will be by next week for an interview on NXT. Ava raised her eyebrow and wondered who the better half was?…[c]
Tatum Paxley was throwing a fit in front of The Culling backstage, super apologetic. Izzi said to calm down because she forgives her. Izzi advised Tatum to calm down and that she needs to be smarter so the Culling can have the title for a long time. Tatum said she wants the title to be in the Culling forever. She said she appreciates their love and she it going to be smarter about giving title shots. Tatum said she has “one more thing” though and she ran off…
AAA Mixed Tag Team Champions All Ego Ethan Page and Chelsea Green were in the ring with a cardboard cake and Canadian Flags behind them. Alba Fyre was also there. Page pointed out how they don’t have much fans because people hate that they are right with their predictions. They said they predicted winning the mixed tag titles and won the AAA (Pronounced in Spanish phonetically as “Trip lay Ahhh”). Page also said he’s the greatest North American of all time as the North American champion.
Green said she’s also proud of being the Triple Ah-ah-ah mixed tag champion and no one can step up to them. Page said they plan to defend their tag titles against everybody and anybody. Green told Page to not let them ruin their night because she brought the margaritas and decor. Green wanted “Joe” here. Page said not to say his name. Page insinuated that Joe is in the cardboard cake. Green and Page had sticks ready to jump Joe after they say his name.
They said his name and he appeared. Joe appeared on the ramp instead. Joe said maybe the straightforward approach is the best. Joe said Page and Green are in their ego so much that they forget what good talent looks like. Page wondered if Joe wanted a shot at the NA title? Joe said he wants a shot at the tag titles. Green pointed out that Joe has no partner.
Joe said he needs someone who can wave their hands from side to side and say “we believe”. Joe said he wanted to keep it a secret, but you have to “say her name”. Joe’s entrance theme played with Joe’s name replaced with Thea, for Thea Hail. Thea Hail popped out from the cake. Joe and Thea beat up Ethan and Green. They also pulled out real cake from the cardboard cake to toss on the heels. Joe and Thea did the hand wave to end the segment…
Vic Joseph ran through next week’s advertised card. Joe and Thea did the Zoolander turn to close the show…
John’s Thoughts: That was a bit weird. Caught me off guard too, because it felt like a middle-of-the-hour segment, and it ended up being the main event segment randomly. I don’t think they should have put it here. Why not modify what they did with Trick and Ricky a bit and put that in the main event slot instead of the mid-card comedy hype? Good to see Thea Hail back in an actual program and I think her spunky personality should mesh well with the eccentric Joe Hendry. This also seems like WWE is using inheriting mixed tag titles to try out their Mixed Tag Challenge concept from many years ago again (Which was actually pretty fun, especially the Asuka and Miz tag team).
That said, WWE is starting to get a bit out of hand with their titles. On top of that, they are concentrating them all on NXT. I guess it fits the Gold Rush gimmick, but two hours each week will start being a bit too claustrophobic. They have WWE, Speed, NXT, AAA, and TNA titles all floating around on this show. It’s made worst because TNA is inactive at the moment, meaning they have to have more story focus on the cluttered CW show. Eh? Maybe send some of these belts to Tubi or something, because there isn’t enough TV real estate. Either that or TNA and AAA get their new TV deals already, Then at least the AAA titles can stay off NXT.

I must say that was a really good first heel promo from Kelani Jordan!
Early Hit List preview. I agree.
I’m old fashioned. I just love a good pie to the face!
So tempted to make a Rock-like joke…
Tell me you didn’t just say that! (Sorry, Booker T can kill me later!)
Have I understood correctly that in the segment directly before a female wrestler stood in the ring decrying the focus on asses and catchphrases, one team started having an ass-wiggling competition in the middle of a match?
