John’s Thoughts: Kali and Rain both need wins, but it was smart to have Kali go over as she has had a bit of a rocky start on the main NXT show. At least they have her out of the main event scene as she felt rushed and outta place there at the beginning of her NXT run. A bit random to have Skylar Rae attack her after the match. Hopefully they give Rae some character development because so far she’s just been utilized to put over other talent.
