Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite television show averaged 676,000 viewers for TBS, according to ProgrammingInsider.com. The viewership was down from last week’s average of 706,000. Dynamite finished with a 0.12 rating in the 18-49 demo, equal to the previous week’s 0.12 rating in the same demo.
Powell’s POV: The HBO Max streaming numbers are not included in the rating or viewership count for AEW programming. Tuesday’s NXT on The CW averaged 680,000 viewers and a 0.10 rating in the 18-49 demo. One year ago, on July 30, 2025, Dynamite on TBS delivered 612,000 viewers and a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

I dont think the 34 minute overrun helped the rating. Could be wrong but a 2hr or just over show draws a much bigger viewership imo. Not really arsed though. Great show last wednesday. Hot crowd. What i love about Pro Wrestling.
No, they usually don’t help, which is why I’m baffled by these long overruns. Did we really need Moxley vs. Komander on that show? Nothing against those guys, but cut that match and the show is closer to its usual length and likely does better numbers.
Surely that match as you say, on collision … or next week at Arena mexico or just not at all.
Its like they see getting that match on, having an overrun, as being more important than the ratings. To be honest im not too fussed with ratings either. Im more concerned with attendance. And that has been much better through 2025 and 2026 during this resurgence. But im with you on the ppvs as well. As good as they are if they were shorter they would be even better. But Tony sees is as giving more wrestling and more value for money. And being a myaew subscriber here in the uk, £100 a year for all shows, all ppvs and now all the other promotions on board, its incredible value. RoH should be on it as well
