WWE has announced that Adam Cole will defend the NXT Championship at Survivor Series. Cole will be challenged by the winner of Pete Dunne vs. Damian Priest vs. Killian Dain in a Triple Threat match that will be held on Wednesday’s NXT television show. Read the official announcement at WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: It’s a nice addition to both shows, as I mistakenly assumed that the Triple Threat match would be added to the NXT Takeover: WarGames lineup for Saturday. Cole continues to be a real trooper for the company, as he continues to work through a fractured wrist and will do double duty this weekend with a WarGames match on Saturday and the title match on Sunday.
