Jorge Arias, who wrestles as Sin Cara, announced on Monday that he requested his contractual release from WWE. He issued a statement on social media noting that he is thankful for the opportunity, then added, “I’ve come to the realization that I am stuck in a place where I have no value as an athlete, performer, or entertainer.” Read his full statement below.

Powell’s POV: Luke Harper, Tye Dillinger, and Mike Kanellis also made public statements to acknowledge that they requested their contractual releases from the company. At this point, only Dillinger, who works as Shawn Spears in AEW, has been granted his release.
