Paul “Triple H” Levesque appeared on the first edition of WWE Backstage and announced that Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross were traded to Smackdown for future considerations from Raw.

Powell’s POV: This was the big blockbuster trade? Anyway, Levesque tried to tie in the trade announcement to the news that Bruce Prichard has been named the new executive director of Smackdown.

  1. Bliss and Banks in the same locker room again? This could get real ugly real quick with the unprofessional muppet Sasha Botch and the much more talented Bliss.

  2. That greatly increases the chances of Asuka and Kairi getting singles pushes once they drop the tag titles, There aren’t any other real options as they can’t keep doing Becky and Charlotte over and over.

  3. I am sure WWE regrets introducing women’s tag titles now – even before the brand split, there were not enough teams to fight for them, and now the extra consideration of whoever drops the titles has to stay on a particular brand makes it even more problematic.
