The following pool of wrestlers were eligible to be drafted during WWE Friday Night Smackdown: Becky Lynch, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson, Bray Wyatt, Drew McIntyre, Randy Orton, Sasha Banks, Ricochet, Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross, Lacey Evans, The Viking Raiders, The Revival, Natalya, The Street Profits, Kalisto, Gran Metalik, Lince Dorado, Cesaro, Kevin Owens, Humberto Carrillo, Akira Tozawa, Sin Cara Eric Young, EC3, Chad Gable, Heath Slater, Drew Gulak, Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel, and Tamina.
The following pool of wrestlers are not eligible to be drafted until Monday’s WWE Raw: Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar, Charlotte Flair, Titus O’Neil, Shinsuke Nakamura (with Sami Zayn), Aleister Black, New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods), Daniel Bryan, Bayley, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, The Miz, Ali, King Corbin, Elias, Dolph Ziggler and Bobby Roode, Samoa Joe, Asuka and Kairi Sane, Rusev, Cedric Alexander, Rey Mysterio, R-Truth, Carmella, Akam and Rezar, Tucker and Otis, Apollo Crews, Andrade, Liv Morgan, Jinder Mahal, Buddy Murphy, Mojo Rawley, No Way Jose, Dana Brooke, Shelton Benjamin, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, Sarah Logan, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, and Drake Maverick.
No real difference here in many cases. A lot of these wrestlers/performers were already on the brands they ended up being “drafted” to. You could also see the telltale signs that people jobbing out in feuds were headed to opposite brands.
The Lucha House Party were drafted, and yet somehow Cesaro wasn’t? Poor Cesaro.
Early impressions though: RAW has a way better roster. If they let Heyman do his thing, that show might just become watchable again.
