The following matches are advertised for Saturday’s New Japan Pro Wrestling Royal Quest event that will be held in London, England at Copper Box Arena.
-Kazuchika Okada vs. Minoru Suzuki for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
-Zack Sabre Jr. vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi for the British Heavyweight Championship.
-Tomohiro Ishii vs. Kenta for the Never Openweight Championship.
-Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa vs. the winners of an RPW tournament.
-Tetsuya Naito and Sanada vs. Jay White and Chase Owens.
-Will Ospreay and Robbie Eagles vs. El Phantasmo and Taiji Ishimori.
-Kota Ibushi and Juice Robinson vs. Yujiro Takahashi and Hikuleo.
-Ren Narita, Shota Umino, and Ryusuke Taguchi vs. Sho, Yoh, and Rocky Romero.
Powell’s POV: This event will not stream live on New Japan World. Rather, it is available for $24.99 via FITE.TV. The event begins on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. CT/12:30 p.m. ET. Unfortunately, I will not be able to cover this event live because I will be covering the CM Punk appearance at Starrcast III followed by NXT Takeover UK: Cardiff, and then AEW All Out on Saturday night. That said, it looks like a fun show and my guess is that Kenta takes the Never Openweight Championship.
