Tampa prosecutors dropped the case against former WWE personality Terri Runnels related to her May 29 arrest for bringing a loaded handgun to Tampa International Airport. TMZ.com reports that prosecutors issued a “letter of dismissal” that would allow them to pick up the case again, but added that the chances of that happening are considered “extremely slim.”

Powell’s POV: Runnels was quick to record a social media video in which she was apologetic and stated that she simply forgot the gun was in her luggage. She noted that she used the gun to keep armadillos and other pests out of her mother’s garden. Runnels also used the name Marlena during her WWE run.
