The following are the results of the NXT UK television shows that aired Wednesday, May 15 on WWE Network.

1. Piper Niven beat Jamie Hayter in a relative squash match.

Toni Storm responded to Nina Samuels comments from last week. Toni came across really well here, not the usual fun loving character but intense and slightly deranged. She said Nina wanted her fifteen minutes of fame, she’s got it. Storm walked off.

Sid Scala was shown entering the arena (after show start time? Bad assistant manager!). He was interrupted by Kassius Ohno, who asked why does our audience love NXT UK so much? He answered by saying because of the authentic British Wrestling, which he is here to showcase. He asked if it was a mistake he wasn’t in the fatal four-way. Scala said he had only just arrived and I’m sure he and Johnny Saint will come up with a good answer for next week.

2. Jordan Devlin defeated Ligero to qualify for the four-way to determine the No. 1 contender to the WWE UK Championship.

After the match Radzi climbed in the ring and started to ask a question, but Devlin grabbed the microphone. Devlin said he shouldn’t have to qualify for the four-way, in fact he shouldn’t have to be in a number one contendership match, as he should be number one contender. He warned everyone in the four-way in two weeks they will all fall to the ace.

A video package aired that focused on Walter winning the WWE UK Championship along with some words from the champion. He called the match difficult but fun. He said he gave Pete Dunne the rematch because he was the first person to ask for a match and he appreciates that.

“Moustache Mountain” Trent Seven and Tyler Bate were asked for their comments on Walter vs. Dunne 2 for next week. They called it the biggest rematch of all time…….until James Drake and Zack Gibson take on Moustache Mountain again.

3. Ilja Dragunov defeated Jack Starz (whom I shall call Lamb To The Slaughter from now on).

Radzi interviewed Mark Andrews and Noam Dar backstage and announced that next week they would be facing each other again. Noam said that last time they faced each other they both got stretched out, which is like a good night out in Glasgow. Andrews said let the best man win and then they shock hands.

4. Xia Brookside fought Killer Kelly to an apparent no contest after Jinny and Jazzy Gabert interrupted. Jazzy climbed into the ring and Killer Kelly left the ring. Jazzy completely destroyed Xia.

Toni Storm vs. Nina Samuels was made official for two weeks time.

5. Dave Mastiff defeated Wolfgang to qualify for the four-way to determine the No. 1 contender to the WWE UK Championship.

Gleed’s Ramblings: Another week where I can’t believe so much happened in an hour. We had one relatively long good match between Devlin and Ligero, two debuts in Dragunov and Jazzy Gabert, a decent big man main event, and a ton of storyline development up and down the card. They also built to the rematch between Walter and Dunne for next week. These tapings so far have been great and I would highly recommend the last two weeks of NXT UK as great examples of episodic professional wrestling television.
