WWE released advertising for a new pay-per-view called Stomping Grounds. The event will be held on June 23 in Tacoma, Washington at the Tacoma Dome. WWE is advertising Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton for the Stomping Grounds event.
Powell’s POV: WWE has pulled the plug on the Backlash pay-per-view that was scheduled for June 16 in San Diego. The event will instead be a house show. All of this appears to be happening because of WWE planning to return to Saudi Arabia with another pay-per-view event in early June.
