New Impact World Champion Brian Cage provided an update on his back injury during a Monday appearance on the Busted Open satellite radio show. Cage said he had severe inflammation and a bone bruise.
Powell’s POV: Cage said the doctor couldn’t rule out a small fracture, but even if there is there’s not much that Cage can do besides being cautious. Fortunately, it sounds like Cage won’t miss time, which is crucial for Impact this week given that he’s their new champion and the company will be taping several weeks of television tonight and this weekend in Philadelphia.
