The National Wrestling Alliance announced the brackets for the Crockett Cup tag team tournament that will be held on April 27 in Concord, North Carolina at Cabarrus Arena. You can view the bracket reveal video below or via the NWA Youtube Page.
Powell’s POV: The Crockett Cup event will also feature Nick Aldis vs. Marty Scurll for the NWA Championship, Jazz vs. Sienna for the NWA Women’s Championship, and Willie Mack vs. Colt Cabana for the NWA National Championship. Block A of the eight-team, one night tournament features Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe vs. The Rock-n-Roll Epxress, and Satoshi Kojima and Yuji Nagata vs. PCO and Brody King. The B Block features vs. Stuka Jr. and Guerrero Maya Jr. vs. Flip Gordon and Bandido, and Crimson and Jax Dayne vs. the winners of a wild card battle royal. The lineup has come together nicely and I’m looking forward to covering the show love in April 27.
