2. Tetsuya Naito, Evil, Bush, and Shingo Takagi beat Yuji Nagata, Ren Narita, Manabu Nakanishi, Hiroyoshi Tenzan.

3. Kota Ibushi and Tomoaki Honma beat Zack Sabre Jr. and Taka Michinoku.

4. Will Ospreay and Tomohiro Ishii beat Lance Archer and Taichi.

5. Mikey Nicholls, Ryusuke Taguchi, and Toa Henare beat Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi, and Shota Umino.

6. Toru Yano beat Davey Boy Smith Jr. in a New Japan Cup tournament first round match.

7. Colt Cabana over Togi Makabe in a New Japan Cup tournament first round match.

8. Minoru Suzuki beat Satoshi Kojima in a New Japan Cup tournament first round match.

9. Sanada defeated Hirooki Goto in a New Japan Cup tournament first round match.
