Longtime producer Arn Anderson (Marty Lunde) is no longer working for WWE. ProWrestlingSheet.com reports that Anderson “has apparently been let go” by the company.

Powell’s POV: As I reported in last week’s members’ exclusive Dot Net Weekly audio show, I was told the company’s recent wave of producer hires occurred in part because there is a feeling within the company that there is a disconnect between some of the older producers and the wrestlers, and the buzz was that some of the older producers would eventually be let go. That said, there’s no word yet as to why Anderson was dismissed. He started as a producer in 2001. Anderson is advertised for the Starrcast event that will be held May 23-26 in Las Vegas.

  1. I don’t know who’s better to learn from than an Arn Anderson. Guys who worked in an era where less was more.I like watching the NWA from the 80s because it was a realistic style and they got over on less. I get the disconnect to a degree but the performance center could use that experience

  2. This would seem to be poor timing with Ric Flair’s birthday celebration happening Monday.
