1/16 NXT UK TV results with Haydn Gleed’s summary

By Haydn Gleed, ProWrestling.net Staffer (@haydngleed)

The following are the results of the NXT UK television show that aired Thursday, January 16 on WWE Network.

1. Ligero defeated Saxon Huxley.

2. Jinny defeated Isla Dawn.

3. Fabian Aichner and Marcel Barthel defeated Mark Andrews and Flash Morgan Webster.

Gleed’s Ramblings: If you’ve ever seen an NXT television show after a Takeover then you know what to expect from this show in terms of airing matches that were taped prior to the live special going on the air. We got one reaction video package from Travis Banks, which was very well delivered. Aside from that video, it was all about the matches and they were certainly a mismatch in terms of quality. If you have limited time then skip the first two matches on this show, but go out of your way to watch the tag team main event as it was a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to the first proper followup show next week, which will be the first episode filmed at the tapings that followed Takeover.
