-NXT UK Takeover: Blackpool will be held on Saturday in Blackpool, England at Empress Ballroom. The event is headlined by Pete Dunne vs. Joe Coffey for the WWE UK Championship, and Rhea Ripley vs. Toni Storm for the NXT UK Women’s Championship. Join me for live coverage on Saturday beginning with the pre-show notes at 12:30 CT/1:30 ET. The actual show begins at 1CT/2ET and is blocked for 2.5 hours on WWE Network.

-Impact Wrestling premieres on Pursuit Channel tonight at 9CT/10ET. The show will feature the fallout from the Homecoming event.

-WWE is in Knoxville, Tennessee at the Knoxville Civic Coliseum on Saturday with the Raw crew.

-WWE is in Johnson City, Tennessee at Freedom Hall on Saturday with the following advertised matches: Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Women’s Championship, and Rusev vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Randy Orton for the U.S. Championship.

-ROH is taping television in Atlanta, Georgia at Center Stage on Saturday with the following advertised matches: The Briscoes vs. Best Friends, Bandido vs. Mark Haskins, Eli Isom vs. Silas Young for a shot at the ROH TV Title, Tracy Williams vs. David Finlay, Nick Aldis vs. PJ Black for the NWA Championship.

-NXT UK is taping television on Sunday in Blackpool, England at the Empress Ballroom.

-WWE is in Lexington, Kentucky at Rupp Arena on Sunday with the following advertised matches: Daniel Bryan vs. AJ Styles for the WWE Championship, Asuka vs. Becky Lynch for the Smackdown Women’s Championship, Rey Mysterio vs. Randy Orton, Miz TV with Jeff Hardy and Samoa Joe, Rusev vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the U.S. Championship, Sheamus and Cesaro vs. New Day vs. The Usos for the Smackdown Tag Titles.

-WWE is in Huntsville, Alabama at Van Braun Civic Center on Sunday with the Raw crew, including John Cena.

-ROH is in Concord, North Carolina at Cabarrus Arena on Sunday with the Honor Reigns Supreme event featuring Jay Lethal vs. Dalton Castle for the ROH Championship, Kelly Klein vs. Jenny Rose for the WOH Championship, Marty Scurll, PCO, and Brody King vs. The Briscoes and Silas Young, The Kingdom vs. Delirious, Luchasaurus, and Hurricane Helms, Bandido vs. PJ Black, Tracy Williams vs. Flip Gordon, Best Friends vs. Juice Robinson and David Finlay, Mark Haskins vs. Beer City Bruiser. This show will be available for HonorClub members.

-Evolve will kick off its new year with Evolve 119 on January 18 in Brooklyn, New York at Saint Finbar Catholic Church Gym, and Evolve 120 on January 19 in Queens, New York at La Boom.

-MLW’s first event of 2019 will be on February 2 with MLW SuperShow in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at 2300 Arena.

-Abdullah the Butcher (Lawrence Shreve) is 78.

-Mascarita Sagrada is 54.

-The late Mick McManus (William Matthews) was born on January 11, 1920. he died on May 22, 2013 at age 93.

-The late Gory Guerrero (Salvador Guerrero Quesada) was born on January 11, 1921. He died at age 69 on April 18, 1990.
