MLW announces its MLW Middleweight Championship has been vacated, new champion to be crowned on the live broadcast

By Jason Powell, ProWrestling.net Editor (@prowrestlingnet)

Major League Wrestling announced that Maxwell J Friedman has vacated the MLW Middleweight Championship due to being sidelined with a fractured elbow. MLW will crown a new champion on next Friday’s live broadcast of MLW Fusion on beIN Sports at 7CT/8ET.

Powell’s POV: The new champion will be determined in a four-way ladder match between Dezmond Xavier, Andrew Everett, Kotto Brazil, and and Jason Cade. It’s obviously unfortunate for MJF, who was scheduled to be in what would have been a five-way ladder match. Even so, this looks like a strong match on paper.
