MLW wrestler Tom Lawlor lost to Deron Winn via unanimous decision on Saturday’s MMA event promoted by Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy Promotions.

Powell’s POV: Winn was 4-0 coming into the fight, which was Lawlor’s first after serving a two-year USADA suspension. Lawlor had a lot to say about that suspension when I interviewed him in September (available below). Lawlor’s MMA record falls to 10-7-1. Winn was complimentary of Lawlor in the post fight interview. The event, which was headlined by Chuck Liddell vs. Tito Ortiz, aired on FITE TV.
