Moore’s NXT TV Hit List: Post-Takeover recap show, Nikki Cross vs. Candice LeRae, Lars Sullivan and Keith Lee in action

NXT TV Hits

Nikki Cross vs. Candice LeRae: Both women are veterans in the ring so there was no question that a good match could come out of the talent involved. The women were given a decent amount of time too to work with a few false finish spots thrown in. This was the match that I had a hard time seeing when there in person because there were a ton of ring ropes obstructing the view to the inner ring.

Lars Sullivan vs. Keita Murray: A simple squash that efficiently set up next week’s Keith Lee vs. Lars Sullivan, which should be a good big man match (the match was actually taped before this angle was shot).

Keith Lee vs. Fidel Bravo: Same as above. We also got to find out that Keith Lee is a fan of the pirate anime One Piece through some Mauro Ranallo trivia.

NXT TV Misses

Overall show: This wasn’t a terrible show at all. It was just totally missable, therefore it’s a Miss if you already saw Takeover: WarGames II. If you are watching this on Hulu or for some reason didn’t watch Takeover yet and you have the network, this was a good sampler platter to entice you to watch the show. Otherwise, it’s a good break to prepare you for the next series of story arcs. LeRae vs. Cross was fine, but nothing that really stood out because it was a standard workrate match with a few false finishes.
