Ring of Honor announced the television title match for the Final Battle pay-per-view. Jeff Cobb will defend the title against Hangman Page. ROH Final Battle will be held on December 14 in New York at Hammerstein Ballroom. Read the official announcement at ROHwrestling.com.

Powell’s POV: Page is expected to leave ROH at the end of the year. With soon to be free agent Cody challenging Jay Lethal for the ROH Championship at Final Battle, it could turn out to be a night of losses on the way out the door for the Elite members, assuming they don’t end up re-signing with the company. ROH is also taping television the following night in Philadelphia, so there’s always a chance of a some upsets at the pay-per-view with Elite members then losing at the television taping instead. Either way, Final Battle should be a newsworthy night.
