Paige introduced Shane McMahon as “the best in the world”. They announced AOP vs. The Bar in a champions vs. champions match for Survivor Series. They also set up the show and named Daniel Bryan and Miz as co-captains of Team Smackdown at Survivor Series. In a backstage segment, Bryan picked Shane McMahon for Team Smackdown.
1. The Usos beat New Day to become captains of Team Smackdown in the tag team match. The Usos picked New Day as one of their teams.
Becky Lynch’s promo was interrupted by Nikki Cross, who was accompanied by Sanity.
2. Becky Lynch defeated Nikki Cross.
3. Rey Mysterio defeated Andrade Almas. Randy Orton hit Mysterio with an RKO afterward.
Paige announced Carmella, Naomi, Sonya Deville, and Asuka as members of the Team Smackdown for the women’s match at Survivor Series. Charlotte is the fifth pick. Mandy Rose showed up and questioned why she wasn’t on the team and had a staredown with Deville.
4. Samoa Joe defeated Jeff Hardy to earn a spot on the Survivor Series team. After the main event, Joe went after Daniel Bryan and Miz got involved. Shane showed up and Bryan ended up standing tall.
