The HBO show focused on the way the company gushed over Saudi Arabia and the royal family, and aired a propaganda video during the Greatest Royal Rumble event. Powell’s POV: WWE officials deserve all the criticism they get if they follow through with holding WWE Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia despite all signs pointing to the country’s leadership being behind the presumed slaughter of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. WWE’s latest strategy of removing all references of Saudi Arabia from Crown Jewel advertising is going to make anyone forget where this show is being held.
