Dot Net reader Jeffrey Peter attended Monday’s WWE Raw in Denver, Colorado at Pepsi Center and sent the following report on what happened after the show went off the air.
After Raw went off the air Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, and Dolph Ziggler surrounded the ring and then attacked The Shield. They heels threw Dean Ambrose and Seth out of the ring. Braun shoved Drew and did the get the tables schtick. Drew jumped out of the ring slid the table into the ring and set it up, then Seth and Dean grabbed the steel chairs that Braun, Drew, and Dolph were sitting on during the main event and attacked them with it and chased the trio from the ring.
With Drew, Braun, and Dolph gone from ringside, that left Baron Corbin in the ring. Baron got up and tried to shake hands like to make friends. Seth gave him the mic then Seth took it back and said that Dean was the one to make these decisions. Rollins handed the mic to Dean, who said we’ll let Denver decide Corbin’s fate.
A) We kick Corbin’s butt – the crowd cheered loudly
B) We shake hands with Baron and let him go on his way – very loud boos
C) Baron has to sing “I’m A Little Tea Pot” and if he messes it up we kick his but anyways – very loud cheers
Baron took the Mic and said “I cannot believe you ALL choose C” and then he tried singing the song and screwed it up badly. The crowd started singing the song then Dean took the mic and said “Who doesn’t know the words to such a easy nursery rhyme.” Ambrose gave Baron the Dirty Deeds, then Seth did the Curb Stomp to Corbin, and finally Roman speared him.
As the Shield celebrated in the ring and played to the crowd, Baron grabbed the mic again and tried finishing the song. The Shield walked over to him and shook their head and then picked him up and Triple Powerbombed him through the previously set up table and sent everyone home happy.
Powell’s POV: Corbin would know the words if he watched USA Network on a regular basis. They still play the PSA with Roman Reigns and his daughter on a regular basis.
