-WWE is in August, Georgia at James Brown Arena tonight with the following advertised matches: Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental Title, Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens, Bobby Lashley vs. Jinder Mahal, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas vs. Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt vs. Baron Corbin and Elias for the Raw Tag Titles, Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax vs. Natalya for the Raw Women’s Championship, plus Ronda Rousey is advertised.

-WWE is in Pensacola, Florida at Pensacola Bay Center on Saturday with the following advertised matches: AJ Styles vs. Rusev for the WWE Championship, Jeff Hardy vs. Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Randy Orton vs. Samoa Joe vs. Shinsuke Nakamura in a four-way for the U.S. Championship, Carmella vs. Asuka for the Smackdown Women’s Championship. The lineup is dated in that Team Hell No is advertised for a tag title match.

-WWE is in North Charleston, South Carolina at North Charleston Coliseum on Saturday with the following advertised matches: Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins vs. Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre, Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas vs. Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt vs. Baron Corbin and Elias for the Raw Tag Titles, Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks vs. Ember Moon for the Raw Women’s Championship, Bobby Roode vs. Kevin Owens, Ronda Rousey and Natalya vs. Liv Morgan and Alicia Fox, Bobby Lashley vs. JInder Mahal.

-WWE is in Albany, Georgia at the Albany Civic Center on Sunday with the following advertised matches: AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE Championship, Daniel Bryan vs. Samoa Joe,

-WWE is in Savannah, Georgia at Savannah Civic Center on Sunday with the following advertised matches: AJ Styles vs. Rusev for the WWE Championship, Shinsuke Nakamura vs Jeff Hardy for the U.S. Championship.

-Evolve 108 is Saturday in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at 2300 Arena with the following notable matches: Matt Riddle vs. Shane Strickland for the Evolve Championship, Chris Dickinson and Jaka vs. Tracy Williams and TK Cooper for the Evolve Tag Titles, Joey Janela vs. AR Fox. This show and Sunday’s show will be available for purchase on WWN’s streaming service on FITE TV.

-Evolve 109 will be held on Sunday in Melrose, Massachusetts at Melrose Memorial Hall with the following notable matches: Joey Janela vs. Darby Allin for the WWN Championship, Matt Riddle vs. Austin Theory in a non-title match, Chris Dickinson vs. Tracy Williams in a no holds barred match. This show and Saturday’s show will be available for purchase on WWN’s streaming service on FITE TV.

-The next ROH events will be the Honor ReUnited tour dates on August 16 in Edinburgh, Scotland, August 18 in Doncaster, England, and August 19 in London, England.

-The next Impact Wrestling television tapings will be held August 12-13 in Toronto, Ontario at the Rebel Complex.

-Eric “Butterbean” Esch is 52. The pro boxer had a boxing match with Bart Gunn at WrestleMania XV.

-Damien Sandow (Aaron Steven Haddad) is 37.

-The late Haystacks Calhoun (William Dee Calhoun) was born on August 3, 1934. He died at age 55 on December 7, 1989.

-The late Karl Gotch (Karl Istaz) was born on August 3, 1924. He died on July 28, 2007.
