WWE says Kane is nursing a broken ankle

WWE announced that Kane suffered a broken ankle. He worked Sunday’s Extreme Rules event in a walking boot. Read more at WWE.com.

Powell’s POV: The WWE story is that he suffered the injury at the hands of the Bludgeon Brothers via their attack on the Kickoff Show. Jacobs was injured going into Sunday. While they are fibbing on the timeline for storyline reasons, it’s certainly possible that they are shooting straight on the severity of the injury.
