Title match announced for WWE Smackdown Live

WWE Smackdown general manager Paige announced that Jeff Hardy will defend the U.S. Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura on Tuesday’s Smackdown Live television show.

Powell’s POV: Hardy beat Nakamura by DQ in a non-title match on the June 12 edition when Nakamura hit him with a low blow. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Nakamura take the title since it’s a nice landing spot for him after he came up short of winning the WWE Championship during his feud with AJ Styles.
