The following matches are advertised for WWE Backlash, which will be held on May 6 in Newark, New Jersey at the Prudential Center.
-Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe.
-Seth Rollins vs. The Miz for the Intercontinental Championship.
-Nia Jax vs. Alexa Bliss for the Raw Women’s Championship.
-Carmella vs. Charlotte for the Smackdown Women’s Championship.
-Daniel Bryan vs. Big Cass.
Powell’s POV: WWE is not advertising the Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton match for the U.S. Championship, which seemed like the plan given that Orton won No. 1 contender status and was originally scheduled to face Jinder Mahal for the title on this show. They officially added the Smackdown Women’s Championship and the Bryan vs. Cass match on Smackdown.
