Tuesday’s WWE Smackdown Live averaged 2.796 million viewers for USA Network, according to Showbuzzdaily.com. The number was down from the 2.952 million count from last Tuesday’s edition.

Powell’s POV: The April 18, 2017 edition of Smackdown delivered 2.554 million viewers. However, the second night of the Superstar Shakeup on April 11, 2017 delivered 3.105 million viewers. The drop from the post WrestleMania edition was expected, but the decline compared to last year’s Shakeup was a bit surprising. It didn’t help WWE’s cause that the show ran opposite the NBA playoffs.
