The following matches and events are advertised on the WWE website for tonight’s WWE Smackdown Live television show.
-Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal.
-WWE Champion AJ Styles vs. Dolph Ziggler in a non-title match.
-Charlotte and Ruby Riott meet face-to-face.
Powell’s POV: It will be interesting to see if Mahal is added to the U.S. Championship match at WWE Fastlane if he beats Orton. There’s no mention of that being a stipulation in the official preview. Mahal could also end up in a match with Shinsuke Nakamura, who does not have an advertised pay-per-view match. WWE is also teasing the possibility of physicality between Becky Lynch and Carmella.
