WWE Live Event
Cedar Rapids, Iowa at U.S. Cellular Center
Report by Dot Net reader Kevin Reiter

My 10-year old daughter and I attended the show. Decent turnout overall. Floor and lower bowl were pretty full, upper deck was pretty empty though.

1. The Usos beat Big E & Xavier Woods, Shelton Benjamin & Chad Gable, and Rusev & Aiden English in a four corners tag team match to retain the Smackdown Tag Titles. Great reaction for Rusev Day…lots of chants throughout the match. The Usos got a huge reaction too. Lots of fun comedy in this one. Usos used a double superkick on Gable for the pin.

2. Mojo Rawley beat Tye Dillinger. Very boring match.

3. “Bludgeon Brothers” Luke Harper and Erick Rowan beat “Breezango” Tyler Breeze and Fandango. Some comedy at the start, but was just a two minute squash.

4. Jinder Mahal beat Sin Cara. Another squash. Three minutes at most. Jinder won with his finisher.

5. Becky Lynch & Naomi beat Sara Logan & Liv Morgan and Carmella & Lana in a Triple Threat tag team match. Naomi was way over with this crowd. Naomi got the pin on Lana after a split legged moonsault.

6. Bobby Roode and Randy Orton fought to a no-contest in a U.S. Championship match. Jinder Mahal ran out and interfered in the match for the finish. It was a nice long match, but nothing special. Jinder ate a Glorious DDT and an RKO afterward. Roode also ate an RKO after the match. Orton took time to sign autographs and shook hands with the front row kids and some special needs individuals.

Intermission

7. Charlotte beat Natalya and Ruby Riott in a Triple Threat to retain the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Charlotte made Natalya tap for the win.

8. Shinsuke Nakamura beat Dolph Ziggler. Nakamura got a strong reaction coming out.

9. AJ Styles beat Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens and Baron Corbin in a four-way to retain the WWE Championship. Kind of a quick match. Styles pinned Owens after a springboard forearm.

Decent show overall. Biggest pops went to Usos, Orton, Naomi, Becky, Nakamura, and Styles.
