The following matches are advertised for the WWE live event that will be held on March 16 in New York, New York at Madison Square Garden.
-Brock Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman vs. Kane in a Triple Threat for the WWE Universal Championship.
-Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and Finn Balor vs. The Miz, Bo Dallas, and Curtis Axel.
-John Cena and Nikki Bella vs. Elias and Bayley.
-AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Powell’s POV: The show is taking place on a Friday night, so WWE is able to use the top Smackdown names for this event without taking them away from a Smackdown house show. The pairing of Elias and Bayley is odd. Granted, they teamed in the Mixed Match Challenge, but it’s odd to see them team up on a house show. Here’s hoping they are just an oddball team and this isn’t a sign that WWE intends to miscast Bayley as a heel and leave Sasha Banks miscast as a babyface.
