Paul Heyman spoke with a TMZ cameraman about the possibility of WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar returning to UFC. Heyman said Lesnar “does what Brock Lesnar wants to do.” Heyman said he feels the time away from UFC has given Lesnar’s body a chance to heal. He said the other UFC fighters are wearing their bodies down in training camps, while Lesnar would probably be the healthiest fighter in the company should he choose to return. Powell’s POV: My first thought after seeing the headline that Lesnar is “primed for a UFC return” was that Heyman was attempting to create some leverage for Lesnar in WWE contract negotiations, but that wasn’t the case at all. Heyman spoke hypothetically about a Lesnar return to UFC and offered no hints regarding whether Lesnar is leaning in that direction. Heyman also had some fun with the cameraman when he was asked about managing Ronda Rousey.
