The mayor of one of the original XFL host cities is interested in having the league return to town. Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer’s spokesperson told the Orlando Sentinel that while no talks have taken place, “this is something we would be interested in learning more about to bring to Orlando.”

Powell’s POV: WWE has a great relationship with Orlando officials given the city’s history with WrestleMania events and as the home of the WWE Performance Center. The XFL is technically an Alpha Entertainment project run by Vince McMahon, but it’s no surprise that an Orlando official hopes to do additional business with the McMahon family.
