The tenth installment of the NWA’s “10 Pounds of Gold” digital series focusses on Nick Aldis defeating Tim Storm to win the NWA Championship at the December 9 Combat Zone Wrestling event. Check out the video at the NWA Wrestling Youtube page.
Powell’s POV: The video notes that Storm’s character was dealing with fractured ribs due to the beating he took from Jocephus at a prior show. Thus, I assume they are building to an Aldis vs. Storm rematch, and even another Storm vs. Jocephus match. In other words, it looks like Storm is still very much involved in the NWA’s plans for at least early 2018.
