Ring of Honor COO Joe Koff recently spoke with the AV Club and was asked about the company’s plan for a streaming service. “It’s in development right now,” Koff said. “I would expect it to be around the first of the year or a little bit after.”

Koff was also asked about his past talks with WWE. “I would just say it was really about content. They put together a Kevin Owens DVD and we were talking about licensing some of the footage. And conversations got into, ‘Would you be interested in doing more and sharing content.'” Koff was asked if the talks went anywhere. “Well, not yet. Not in the foreseeable future.” Read or listen to the full interview at AVClub.com.

Powell’s POV: An ROH streaming service has a lot of potential due to the company’s library and because of the number of live events that could be offered via live stream or even on VOD as they do now with their Ringside membership.
