WWE star John Cena will play a major role in the Transformers spinoff film Bumblebee. Hollywood Reporter notes that Cena has joined the cast, which is headed by Hailee Steinfeld, of the movie that is set in 1987. The film is scheduled to be released on December 21, 2018. Powell’s POV: We may finally learn once and for all whether the robotic John Cena we see on Total Bellas can actually transform into a piece of machinery. In all seriousness, this appears to be a great gig for Cena, though it’s sure to limit his WWE involvement to some extent.
