WWE Battleground lineup: Six matches advertised

The following matches are advertised for WWE Battleground, which takes place on July 23 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at Wells Fargo Center.

-Jinder Mahal vs. Randy Orton in a Punjabi Prison match for the WWE Championship.

-John Cena vs. Rusev in a Flag Match.

-A.J. Styles vs. Kevin Owens for the U.S. Championship.

-The Usos vs. New Day for the Smackdown Tag Titles.

-Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Baron Corbin.

-Charlotte vs. Becky Lynch vs. Natalya vs. Tamina vs. Lana in a five-way elimination match for a Smackdown Women’s Championship match at SummerSlam.

Powell’s POV: WWE is laying it on thick with the American patriotism in that the top three matches all feature Americans facing heel foreign menaces. As always, we will have live coverage of the event and the Kickoff Show, and members will hear an exclusive audio review featuring me and Jake Barnett.
