WWE is advertising the following matches for the WWE Backlash event, which will be held tonight in Richmond, Virginia at The Coliseum.
-Dean Ambrose vs. AJ Styles for the WWE Championship.
-Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt.
-The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Championship.
-Becky Lynch vs. Nikki Bella vs. Naomi vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Natalya vs. Carmella in a Six Pack Elimination Challenge to become the first Smackdown Women’s Champion.
-The Usos vs. The Hype Bros for a spot in the tag team championship tournament finals.
-Heath Slater and Rhyno face The Usos or The Hype Bros to become the first Smackdown Tag Team Champions.
Powell’s POV: Smackdown is listed as a three-hour event on WWE Network and will probably run close to the usual live special length given that it is available for purchase on pay-per-view via some cable outlets.
