TNA wrestler claims she is out of Slammiversary due to injury

Powell’s POV: The injury is legitimate, but her status for Slammiversary may be a work. The story that TNA put out states that discussions are ongoing and Billy Corgan “is running point on this developing situation.” In other words, this may be a case of the Maria character claiming she can’t wrestle and then TNA/Corgan announcing that she is medically cleared and the match is on. We’ll let you know once they provide an update.
