-NXT is taping television tonight in Winter Park, Florida at Full Sail University.

-NXT is at the Download Festival at Donington Park in Leicestershire, England on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The huge three-day festival features nightly headliners Ramstein, Black Sabbath, and Iron Maiden. There will also be a tribute to Lemmy of Motorhead with a second stage named after the band, which was originally scheduled to play on Friday night. NXT is advertising the following talent for the weekend: Finn Balor, Bayley, Samoa Joe, Baron Corbin, Shinsuke Nakamura, Jason Jordan, Chad Gable, Asuka, Austin Aries, Tye Dillinger, Dash Wilder, Scott Dawson, Carmella, Alexa Bliss, and Nia Jax.

-The Sheik Ed Farhat was born on June 9, 1924. He died on January 18, 2003 at age 78.

-Dutch Savage (a/k/a Frank Stewart) was born on June 9, 1935. He died on August 3, 2013 at age 78.
