WWE wrestler Adam Rose (a/k/a Ray Leppan) released a doctor’s note dated April 22, 2016 explaining that he was treaded with FDA approved medication for ADHD. The note states that Rose has been treated since April 30, 2015 and that his is compliant with the doctor’s treatment recommendations.
“My doctor’s note as promised,” Rose wrote in a followup from April 20. “I did nothing wrong and was following all correct protocols.” Read the full note at Twitter.com/WWEAdamRose
Powell’s POV: Rose also noted that WWE had known about his ADHD treatment for over a year. WWE does not disclose what wrestlers who fail the Wellness Policy tested positive for. If everything is as Rose indicates, then it seems pretty foolish that he was suspended. That said, the ball is in WWE’s court as far as responding and revealing what he tested positive for now that he’s made it an issue.
