Logo_SD_dn_600Thursday’s WWE Smackdown scored a 1.70 rating, down from the 1.75 rating the show drew last week. As previously noted, the show averaged 2.355 million viewers, down from last week’s 2.44 million viewers.

Powell’s POV: WWE advertised the continuation of the tag team tournament for Smackdown. They had their top star hosting his own show on FOX opposite the second hour of Smackdown, but it doesn’t seem to have made a real difference in the numbers. In case you missed it, Cena’s “American Grit” show finished with 2.347 million viewers for FOX on Thursday night. The April 16, 2015 Smackdown delivered 2.450 million viewers.
