Sting named first WWE Hall of Famer for 2016

Sting (a/k/a Steve Borden) has been named the first member of the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016. The ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 2 in Dallas, Texas at American Airlines Center.

Powell’s POV: WWE made the official announcement today and one can only assume that we will be seeing a Hall of Fame video tonight on Raw. Am I the only one who misses when these announcements were saved for Raw? Anyway, congrats to Sting, who is a deserving recipient.

Jason Powell and Jake Barnett co-host the Dot Net Weekly and Pro Wrestling Boom Podcast combo show and discuss Raw Underground and other WWE concepts, The Rock's group buying the XFL, the Marty Jannetty story, AEW Dynamite and NXT TV, and more...
