-Finally, Star Wars: Episode 7 opens tonight. I will be seeing “The Force Awakens” this evening (before Will Pruett sees it) and I am counting down the hours. I am looking forward to discussing the movie with Will in a rare non-wrestling audio show that will be available for members on Friday. May the force be with you!

-Tonight’s WWE Smackdown television show is is headlined by Kevin Owens vs. Dolph Ziggler. Join Jake Barnett for live coverage as the show airs tonight on Syfy at 7:00 p.m. CT.

-The NXT tour of the UK wrapped up with yesterday’s live special in London. There are no NXT live events this weekend.

-Nick Dinsmore, who wrestled as Eugene, is 40 today. He was born on December 17, 1975.

-Steel Domain Wrestling is in Richfield, Minnesota at the American Legion on Saturday night with Ryan Slade, Mitch Paradise, Aaron Corbin, Craven Knyte, Golden Idol, Travis Cole, AJ Sooth, Tommy Lee Curtis, Josh Calisto, Justin Decent, Tatsiana, Chadwick Wentworth III, Ian Gauger, and Devin Thomas. Plus, they will be doing a tribute to the late Nick Bockwinkel.

-Maryland Championship Wrestling is in Joppa, Maryland at Joppa Market Place on December 26 with a meet and greet with EC3, and former WWE wrestlers Chyna and Ashley Massaro. EC3 will also be wrestling on the show against Brandon Scott. For more details on the event, visit
