Dot Net Member Don Murphy attended ROH Final Battle on Friday in New York and sent the following report on the post match scene involving members of The Elite and SCU.
“The Young Bucks” Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson were joined in the ring by Cody, Adam Page, Marty Scurll, Frankie Kazarian, Christopher Daniels, and Scorpio Sky. Nick said Hammerstein was his favorite place to work. Matt thanked ROH, including Joe Koff and Cary Silkin.
Matt said this last two year run was the best of his life. He also thanked his family and the entire ROH roster. He concluded by saying something is going down, they don’t know exactly what, but they guaranteed a return to New York City.
Powell’s POV: Of everyone who was in the ring for the dark segment, only Scurll is believed to have time remaining on his ROH deal beyond the end of 2018. Obviously, it will be very interesting to see what the future holds for the Elite members and the All Elite Wrestling project.
