Terri Runnels spoke out about the way she and others were used on the WWE Raw 25 show on her new podcast. “To be honest, I was very disappointed, I really was,” Runnels said. “We were misused. I wanted for a brief moment some sincerity, and I didn’t like that it went straight to this cartoon crap. I felt like you’ve got a lot of talent and we are just standing there waving. We were mis-used, is the best way to say it, there is a better way for us to be used… It was disappointing because I loved my WWE/WWF family. It was a letdown.”

Runnels also stated that she was harassed during her pro wrestling career. “I was definitely harassed,” she said. When asked if it happened during her WWF/WWE career, Runnels replied “Maybe.” She said she kept the harassment to herself and did not bring it to the attention of her superiors. Runnels also noted that “things were said, things were done” while she was working in the makeup room at CNN prior to her pro wrestling run. She questioned what she would have to gain by naming names or how it would help anyone out all these years later. Listen to the podcast at MLWradio.com.

Powell’s POV: Runnels also noted that the female legends had to be at Barclays for a run through at 11 a.m. and it consisted of them rehearsing their simple wave at the camera moment once on the stage and once backstage. She also mentioned that her ex-husband Goldust was scheduled to appear in a segment with Enzo Amore, but it was scrapped when Amore was suspended on the day of the show (he was released from his contract the next day). Runnels said Enzo was sitting at the APA poker table when he was pulled away. She went into greater detail about her Raw 25 experience including who she was happiest to see while backstage. In an interesting note, she said she documented the harassment she endured and postmarked it and has the information locked away, though she has no intention of releasing it.
