New Texas Pro Wrestling “8th Anniversary Show”
Houston, Texas, at the Houston Premier Arena
Streamed live October 30, 2026, on the New Texas Pro YouTube Channel, also available via IndependentWrestling.TV
This is a small, dark room, and the crowd was only maybe 200, but it was PACKED. They have an impressive lighting display, so the ring was actually bathed in light. The commentators noted, “We are beyond capacity!”
* A nice video aired to open the show that noted some highlights from their first eight years.
1. Chris Marcell vs. Dustin Nguyen vs. LVJ vs. Marvelous Mack vs. Gavin Ash vs. Isaac Morales in a ladder match for the Texas Contender Series Title. TCS events feel like an NXT show — a chance for new young talent to get some ring experience. Ash is a short, talented, high-flying kid, probably still a teen. He’s appeared on a few GCW shows. I don’t think I’ve seen Mack before; he’s a flamboyant Black man. Marcell is thick; I think I saw him against Carter Blaq maybe? Everyone attacked Marcell at the bell; he’s so much bigger and thicker than everyone else, and he started hitting clotheslines.
Dustin hit his double-handed kung fu strike on Marcell, and they fought to the floor. Some scrawny kid dubbed “Super Contender’s Man,” was hiding under the ring. He’s a masked superhero gimmick, and he hit a top-rope plancha onto several guys on the floor. Mack leapt, and he actually got a finger on the belt that was dangling from the ceiling! LVJ and Dustin brawled in the ring. LVJ climbed the ropes, but Ash leapt off a top turnbuckle and hit a stunner on LVJ, and everyone was down at 5:00. A horizontal ladder was placed between an open ladder and the ring ropes. LVJ flipped Morales from the top of the ladder onto the horizontal ladder below at 7:30, earning a “Holy shit!” chant.
Marcell pulled LVJ off the ladder and powerbombed him. Everyone was brawling on the floor. Morales was thrown into the masked Calico, who was seated in the crowd. Calico brawled with Morales. In the ring, Marcell and Morales climbed the ladder and fought on top as they each tried to grab the belt. Mack pulled Marcell down and hit a Pedigree at 12:30. Dustin pulled Morales off the ladder, too, and he hit a snap Dragon Suplex. LVJ again placed a vertical ladder inside an open ladder.
LVJ and Ash fought on top of the ladder. Ash hit a sunset flip powerbomb onto the vertical ladder at 14:30. Mack pulled Ash off the ladder and hit a running powerbomb over the top rope onto several guys on the floor. AQA jumped in the ring and grabbed Mack’s ankle so he couldn’t pull down the belt. Marcell climbed the ladder and pulled down his belt. Lots of boos for that. A pretty insane ladder match with plenty of big bumps.
Chris Marcell defeated Dustin Nguyen, LVJ, Marvelous Mack, Gavin Ash, and Isaac Morales in a ladder match to retain the Texas Contender Series Title at 16:23.
2. “The Dream Team” KC Kr’eme and Danny King vs. “La Familia” Diego De La Cruz and Jonathan Vega for the New Texas Pro Tag Team Titles. KC and Vega (think Rocky Romero) opened, and Kr’eme easily pushed him into the corner. They got in a knuckle lock, and KC overpowered him. Cruz got in, but the champs pulled him to their corner and worked him over. Cruz (wearing black trunks with blue lining) hit a headbutt and worked over King. King got a sunset flip for a nearfall at 5:00. They hit stereo enzuigiris. Vega hit a suplex. Cruz hit some stiff kicks to the spine, and the crowd rallied for Danny.
Vega hit a second-rope elbow drop at 8:00, and he clawed at Danny’s nose; the commentators noted that King’s nose injury had just healed! Vega hit a backbreaker over his knee for a nearfall. King hit a flying clothesline on Vega, and they were both down. Diego and KC both tagged in at 10:00, and Kr’eme hit a flying clothesline on Diego. KC hit a bodyslam and a flying elbow drop for a nearfall, but Vega made the save. Vega hit a half-nelson suplex. Diego hit a superkick and a stunner on KC, but KC rolled to the ropes at 12:00.
KC and Diego traded punches on the ring apron, and they both fell to the floor. Vega hit a somersault to the floor on the champs. In the ring, Diego hit a top-rope double stomp to Kr’eme’s chest for a nearfall at 14:00. King hit a superkick on Vega, then a dive to the floor on Cruz. Vega got a rollup on KC for a nearfall, then an Impaler DDT for a nearfall at 15:30. KC hit a Mafia Kick on Vega. They hit a team slam and pinned Vega. Good tag action.
“The Dream Team” KC Kr’eme and Danny King defeated “La Familia” Diego De La Cruz and Jonathan Vega to retain the New Texas Pro Tag Team Titles at 16:16.
3. Kylie Rae vs. Kitti Hisatomi. I’ve seen rookie Kitti just once or twice. She is of average size and overall build for a woman of Asian heritage. A nice pop for Kylie, and she got a “Welcome back!” chant. They shook hands at the bell and locked up; both appear to be about 5’3″. Kylie applied a headlock and dragged her to the mat. A commentator talked about how Kylie recently returned from giving birth to her second child, and the great shape she’s in. Kylie got more aggressive and hit a suplex for a nearfall at 4:30.
Kylie bent Kitti around her back, but Kitti rolled her up for a nearfall. Kylie hit a clothesline for a nearfall. Kitti hit some back elbows and a snap suplex for a nearfall at 6:30. She switched to a cross-armbreaker, but Kylie rolled her over for a nearfall. Kitti hit a German Suplex for a nearfall. Kylie rolled her up and got the clean pin. Solid action; Kylie gave her a lot of offense.
Kylie Rae defeated Kitti Hisatomi at 8:27.
4. Carter Blaq vs. Izzy James. They shook hands before locking up; Blaq is much taller and visibly thicker. Some quick reversals to open, and Izzy hit a springboard twisting crossbody block and some chops at 2:00. Blaq fired back with his own hard chops. Izzy hit some knee strikes to the spine and kept Carter tied up on the mat. Blaq hit a bodyslam at 6:00 and went for an elbow drop, but Izzy rolled him up for a nearfall. Blaq hit a dropkick, and they were both down at 8:00. Blaq hit an enzuigiri and a big German Suplex, then two more! Izzy fired back with a running Claymore Kick for a nearfall. He hit a spear into the corner, a clothesline into the corner, and a senton for a nearfall.
They traded forearm strikes. Blaq fired back with a pumphandle Flatliner for a nearfall at 11:00. This has been really sharp, and the crowd was into this. They traded rollups, and Izzy hit a rolling DVD. He applied a Sharpshooter, and he dragged Blaq to the center of the ring! However, Carter powered out, and they were both down at 13:00. Blaq hit a stunner for a nearfall! Izzy missed a Spider Kick out of the ropes. Carter hit another stunner! He put Izzy across his shoulders and did an airplane spin-into-a-powerbomb for the pin. That was really good action.
Carter Blaq defeated Izzy James at 14:19.
* Intermission was edited out of the IWTV replay. Jak Calloway came to the ring and was booed.
5. Oday Al-Saleh vs. Timur the Great vs. Shimbashi vs. Jesse Funaki in a four-way for the New Texas Pro Lonestar Title. All four fought at the bell. Oday and Funaki traded quick rollups. Timur rolled them both up! Jesse hit a dropkick for a nearfall at 2:30. Oday launched off of Timur’s back to hit a dropkick. Timur hit a snap suplex on Oday at 4:00. Timur and Jesse brawled on the floor. Timur and Oday traded blows in the ring. Shimbashi hit a German Suplex on Oday at 6:30. Funaki hit a flip dive to the floor. In the ring, Shimbashi hit a gutbuster over his knees on Funaki for a nearfall.
Shimbashi hit a DVD on Funaki. Shimbashi put Oday on his shoulders and slammed him onto Funaki for a nearfall at 8:30. Timur hit a splash for a nearfall. Timur hit a Jackhammer on Funaki! He hit a spear on Shimbashi for a nearfall, but Jesse made the save. Funaki hit a tornado DDT on Timur. Oday hit a back suplex on Funaki. Shimbashi hit a Drive-By knee strike on Oday. Oday hit a stunner. Jesse hit a running knee. However, Oday hit a Pedigree on Jesse, slamming Jesse onto Timur! Oday then covered the prone Timur for the pin. Sharp action.
Oday Al-Saleh defeated Timur the Great, Shimbashi, and Jesse Funaki in a four-way to retain the New Texas Pro Lonestar Title at 11:11.
6. “The King Bees” Charity King and Danni Bee vs. Raychell Rose and Londyn Dior. I might have seen Londyn before, maybe in ROW? (I just looked it up, and yes, she was in the 2025 Sherri Martel Classic!) She was in an ROH tag match earlier this year against Billie Starkz and Diamonte, too. Danni Bee just returned to the ring after being out for about two years! Londyn and Bee opened, and Danni hit a basement dropkick. The powerhouse King entered and hit a big senton to flatten Dior, then she slammed teammate Bee onto Dior at 2:00.
Bee hit a Drive-By kick, and the heels scampered to the floor to regroup. Back in the ring, Raychell kicked Bee in the back, and that allowed Dior to take control and whip Danni into the corner. Raychell’s hair is purple with some pink streaks today; it’s really a different look for her! She tied Bee in a cravat, and the heels were in control and kept Danni grounded. Dior hit an impressive delayed vertical suplex for a nearfall at 6:30. Danni and Dior hit stereo clotheslines and were both down.
Charity got a hot tag at 8:00, and she hit some clotheslines and a fisherman suplex on Raychell. King had one woman on her shoulders and one in her arms, and she nailed the Samoan Drop-and-fallaway slam combo! What power! A big pop for that. Rose hit a headbutt. Dior hit an X-Factor. Bee hit a top-rope flying senton to break up a pin. Bee hit a Lungblower to the face. King hit the World’s Strongest Slam on Rose for the pin! Good tag match, and it’s great to see Danni back in the ring.
“The King Bees” Charity King and Danni Bee defeated Raychell Rose and Londyn Dior at 9:47.
7. Katsuyori Shibata vs. Buzzsaw Samuels. I don’t know if I’ve seen Samuels before; he’s white, a bit chubby, with a mustache and a mullet. A MASSIVE pop for Shibata. He immediately pulled Samuels to the mat, tied him up, and slapped his head. They got up and got in a knuckle lock, but Shibata hit some chops. Samuels stomped on him. He climbed the ropes, but Shibata shoved him to the floor at 2:00. A commentator said both guys had severe head injuries (obviously, I knew that about Shibata). Shibata hit a snap suplex on the thin mat at ringside, and he hit some chops.
Back in the ring, Shibata was in charge, and he flipped Buzzsaw into the ropes. He applied a Figure Four at 3:30, and the crowd taunted Samuels to tap out. Buzzsaw eventually reached the ropes. They again went to the floor, where Shibata unloaded more chops. They got back into the ring and traded more chops. Shibata just stood there and absorbed a series of chops. Shibata turned Buzzsaw’s white chest a nice shade of red! This chop exchange went for well more than a minute! He hit a chop to the back at 6:30.
Shibata hit a suplex, but Buzzsaw hit one! Shibata hit a suplex, but Buzzsaw responded again. Shibata hit a third suplex, so Buzzsaw hit another one. They both got up, but both collapsed at 8:00. “This crowd is going nuts!” a commentator said. Samuels hit a suplex for a nearfall, then a Death Valley Driver and a clothesline. His chest was RAW. Samuels hit a moonsault for a nearfall! They got up and traded forearm strikes. Shibata hit some more chops and applied a standing sleeper, then dropped him to the mat and hit a running penalty kick for the pin. That was a blast.
Katsuyori Shibata defeated Buzzsaw Samuels at 9:55.
* The crowd approached the ring and pounded on the canvas to ring in the main event!
8. Danny Orion (w/Shimbashi) vs. Bryan Keith for the New Texas Pro Title. Again, I consider Orion a top-10 indy talent, and even though he’s smaller than most of his opponents, he’s had a good title run here. They cautiously locked up in a feeling-out process. They traded chops. They sped it up, and Orion landed a kick. He backed Keith into a corner and hit a series of punches at 4:30. Orion hit a DDT, then a plancha to the floor. He hit a flip dive to the floor but landed hard on an empty seat in the front row. He popped up to show he was okay.
They fought on the floor, where Keith hit an Exploder Suplex, tossing Orion onto some fans (clearly plants in the crowd). Keith rolled Danny into the ring and got a nearfall at 7:00. Bryan hit a chop that dropped Orion. Keith hit another Exploder Suplex and was in charge. Orion hit his own suplex at 9:00. Keith hit a suplex; Orion popped up and hit a headbutt and a suplex. Orion hit another suplex, and they were both down. They fought again to the floor at 11:30. Keith peeled up the thin mat at ringside.
They teased trying to suplex each other on the bare floor. Danny dropped him face-first on the apron. Back in the ring, Orion hit some chops and a dropkick for a nearfall at 13:30, but Keith got a foot on the ropes. Keith set up for the Tiger Emerald Driver, but Orion turned it into a Michinoku Driver for a nearfall! Nice! Keith placed Danny across the top rope and hit a flipping slam for a nearfall at 15:30. In an insane spot, Keith hit the Tiger Emerald Driver (flipping powerbomb) from the apron to the thin mat on the floor at 17:00! That rightfully earned a “holy shit!” chant. Both guys were down.
Keith dragged Orion into the ring, swore at him, hit some punches, then a vicious clothesline. Orion hit a Lethal Injection for a nearfall at 19:30. He hit his own Tiger Emerald Driver, but Keith kicked out at one! The crowd went NUTS for that. Keith hit a leaping headbutt, and they were both down. Keith hit some chops. They fought on the ropes, and Danny hit a spin kick to the face! He hit a double stomp to the back. He went for a Poison Rana, but Keith blocked it, and Bryan turned it into a powerbomb for the pin! New champion! That was awesome.
Bryan Keith defeated Danny Orion to win the New Texas Pro Title at 22:57.
* Keith got on the mic and put over Orion. “You are better than me… just not today.”
Final Thoughts: What a show. With this free on YouTube, it’s well worth checking out. A great main event takes first place, but that Shibata-Samuels match had the crowd hanging on every blow, every chop, and that takes second. I’ll go with the Blaq-Izzy match for third. The women’s tag match was pretty strong and a good return for Danni Bee, too.
So much to like here. Good commentary, with above-average production and lighting. It’s a small crowd, but it’s a small building, and these fans were into everything.
