Progress Wrestling “Chapter 199: Bonestorm”
October 25, 2026, in London, England, at Electric Ballroom
Streamed live on TrillerTV+
In the days since this occurred, I have seen absolutely rave reviews about the Luke Jacobs-Eddie Kingston match. I did see the result of one match, but it’s also a reason why I wanted to tune in.
* I still have issues with the poor lighting here. Only the center of the ring is well-lit. Wrestlers are in the shadows in the corner and can completely vanish if they fight on the floor.
1. Alexxis Falcon and Myla Grace vs. Nikki Storm and Angel Hayze. The former Nikki Cross came out to “Larger Than Life” by the Backstreet Boys. (What are the royalty fees for that???) Falcon was going to start, but she tagged out, so Myla opened against Nikki. Nikki hit a bodyslam, and she flexed, and she twisted Myla’s left arm. The heels began stomping on Hayze in the corner. Hayze hit a dropkick at 3:00. Storm got back in and hit a bulldog on Myla. Falcon hit a running splash in the corner on Storm and got a nearfall. Myla yanked Angel off the apron so she wasn’t there for a hot tag.
The heels worked over Nikki. Angel hit a fisherman’s suplex for a nearfall at 5:30, then a missile dropkick. Hayze got the hot tag and hit some Sling Blade clotheslines on Falcon. Hayze hit an Oblivion faceplant out of the ropes for a nearfall. Myla hit a Michinoku Driver on Hayze for a nearfall at 7:30, then a back suplex. Falcon hit a Styles Clash-type slam for a nearfall, but Nikki made the save. Nikki and Myla fought on the floor. Nikki tagged back in and went to the top rope, but Myla tripped her. It allowed Falcon to hit the Off With Her Head swinging faceplant out of the ropes and pin Nikki. Good opener.
Alexxis Falcon and Myla Grace defeated Nikki Storm and Angel Hayze at 8:56.
* A car pulled up to the building. It was Paul Walter Hauser! The crowd loudly booed. His Progress Proteus Title belt was over his shoulder.
2. Tommy Tanner vs. Sha Samuels for the Atlas Title. I’m fairly certain I haven’t seen Tanner before, but he carried a title belt in his hands. His blondish hair is pulled back tight into a ponytail at the back of his head, and he has a good physique. He’s giving off Dolph Ziggler vibes. Sha was in NXT UK, and he’s comparable to QT Marshall. They charged at each other at the bell and hit some shoulder blocks. Tanner hit a huracanrana and a dropkick, so Sha rolled to the floor. Tanner followed, but Sha pushed him face-first into the ring post at 1:30.
Back in the ring, Samuels took control and hit a stiff kick to the spine. They again brawled to the floor, with Sha in charge. They fought over by Tanner’s father in the crowd, and Sha jawed at the dad. Tanner hit a flip dive to the floor, then a plancha at 5:30. In the ring, Tanner hit a superkick. He went to the top rope, but Sha flipped him to the mat. Sha hit a Michinoku Driver for a nearfall at 7:00. Tanner hit a leaping DDT, and they were both down. Tanner hit a top-rope flying forearm and a brainbuster for a believable nearfall at 8:30.
Samuels hit a Canadian Destroyer and a spinebuster for a nearfall. They got up and traded punches, with the crowd cheering every blow Tanner landed. Tanner got a backslide for a nearfall. Sha tried a rollup with his feet on the ropes at 10:30, and the crowd booed him. Sha applied a standing Cobra Clutch sleeper hold! Tanner pushed off the ring post, flipping his body over to get a nearfall. He nailed a discus forearm strike and got the pin!
Tommy Tanner defeated Sha Samuels to retain the Atlas Title at 11:15.
* Paul Walter Hauser came to the ring with his Proteus Title belt around his waist. He’s a hated heel (long overdue!), and the crowd chanted, “Wanker!” at him. He issued an open challenge!
3. Paul Walter Hauser vs. Scott Oberman for the Progress Proteus Title. Oberman has long hair and a gothic vampire look. Fans pelted the ring with rolls of toilet paper. Hauser shoved him to the mat and pinned him! It was the Progress version of a “Fingerpoke of Doom.” The crowd jeered this. “Bullshit!” a commentator shouted.
Paul Walter Hauser defeated Scott Oberman to retain the Progress Proteus Title at 0:40.
* Hauser got on the mic and referenced this building as “a shithouse.” Hauser said that was a fun ruse, but he’s willing to have another match… right now! He said any rookie is welcome to come and take him on.
4. Paul Walter Hauser (w/Scott Oberman) vs. Cian Noonan for the Progress Proteus Title. My first time seeing Cian, who has short hair and a decent physique. The commentators said he’s 22 and comes from the Irish wrestling scene. Cian hit a shotgun dropkick at the bell and stomped on Hauser. Cian dove through the ropes but struck Oberman. In the ring, Hauser stomped on Noonan and kept him grounded.
Hauser hit a suplex at 1:30, then a senton. Loud boos for everything Hauser did. Hauser hit a clothesline and was dominating. Cian hit a flying kick and a top-rope Spiral Tap twisting press for a nearfall, but Oberman pulled the ref from the ring! Hauser hit a low-blow uppercut. The ref rolled back into the ring and made the three-count.
Paul Walter Hauser (w/Scott Oberman) defeated Cian Noonan to retain the Progress Proteus Title at 3:13.
* Hauser again got on the mic and boasted about his two quick wins. However, Big Damo emerged from the back, and he got cheers. (The fans all know that Damo is now the Progress owner.) Damo has a different match in mind! Out of the back came… Donovan Dijak! A huge pop for him. Hauser was nervous, and he admitted this match is a no-DQ match.
5. Paul Walter Hauser (w/Scott Oberman) vs. Donovan Dijak in a no-DQ match for the Progress Proteus Title. We got the bell, but Oberman got in Dijak’s face, so Donovan punched the goth kid. Dijak hit some punches on Hauser and a backbreaker over his knee, then a splash for a nearfall. Donovan finally got around to removing his jacket. Dijak got a table from under the ring, and that got some cheers! Dijak hit repeated punches on Hauser. Hauser tried a forearm to the chest that Dijak (rightfully!) no-sold.
Oberman tried to help, but Dijak swatted him away again. Dijak flipped Oberman to the floor, but it allowed Hauser to hit some kicks. They fought on the apron, and Hauser got Dijak across his shoulders, but Dijak escaped. Donovan hit a Chokeslam onto the table on the floor, but the table flipped and Hauser landed awkwardly on the floor. Dijak rolled Hauser into the ring and picked him up, but Oberman provided a distraction. Hauser hit another low blow but only got a nearfall.
Dijak hit a superkick as Hauser was on the ropes, then a second-rope superplex at 8:00, and they were both down. They got to their knees and traded forearm strikes. Dijak laughed off a chop. Hauser hit some more weak chops and the crowd laughed at him. Dijak ripped off Hauser’s shirt and hit a series of LOUD chops! The crowd chanted, “Feast Your Eyes!” Hauser started crying. Dijak grabbed him by the throat and hit a Choke Bomb. Oberman again tried to interfere, but Dijak hit the Feast Your Eyes pop-up kneestrike on him. Donovan then nailed Feast Your Eyes on Hauser for the pin! The crowd loudly cheered for the title change.
Donovan Dijak defeated Paul Walter Hauser to win the Progress Proteus Title at 10:56.
6. Luke Jacobs vs. Eddie Kingston. Again, I’ve read rave reviews for this one, so let’s see if it lives up to the hype. An intense lockup at the bell, and Jacobs hit the first loud chop. They traded loud chops. Jacobs hit a bodyslam and a senton at 3:00. They traded more chops, and Eddie hit a headbutt at 5:00 that dropped Luke. Eddie backed him into a corner and hit his rapid-fire chops at 7:00. Luke hit his own series of chops and forearm strikes in the corner, and we got a “This is Progress!” chant.
Luke rolled to the floor, and when he stood up, he was bleeding from the forehead. Kingston dug his fingers into the cut at 9:00, earning a “You sick f—!” chant. Luke’s face was quickly covered in his blood, and it was dripping all over his chest, too. They traded forearm strikes, and Eddie hit a series of headbutts. Jacobs hit a suplex at 11:00. He hit a head-capture suplex and a Mafia Kick, then a German Suplex for a nearfall. Jacobs hit another German Suplex, but Eddie popped up and hit one. Jacobs hit another one, and they both collapsed at 13:00.
They got up and traded chops. Eddie pulled down the straps of his singlet and invited Luke to hit more. They traded more chops. Luke was really a bloody mess; it’s quite a visual. Eddie hit some knife-edge jabs to the side of the neck at 16:00. Jacobs hit a headbutt and a diving forearm strike for a nearfall. Eddie hit a pumphandle back suplex and a regular back suplex for a nearfall. Luke hit another diving forearm for a nearfall, but Eddie got a foot on the ropes at 18:00.
Eddie hit a leaping enzuigiri. Jacobs hit a brainbuster for a nearfall. Luke hit a clothesline, but Eddie kicked out at one! Jacobs held Eddie’s wrists and stomped on his chest, then hit another clothesline for a nearfall at 19:30. “HOW?” a commentator shouted. Eddie hit a half-nelson suplex, then another, then three spinning back fists! Eddie hit a DDT for the pin! That was really entertaining. A commentator called it “a modern classic.” The other commentator said it’s a “match of the year candidate.”
Eddie Kingston defeated Luke Jacobs at 20:59.
* Eddie got on the mic and thanked the fans, saying they “put me in tears with some of your messages.” He said he didn’t leave his house for days after the deaths of Andy Williams and Ben Satterly. He said he thinks he has a broken hand, and he has a pinched nerve in his neck. He put over Luke Jacobs. “Men like you are the reason I want to still do this on the independents.” They got up and hugged.
* Intermission went about 23 minutes. That’s a bit on the long side.
7. “CPF” Danny Black and Joe Lando vs. “Lykos Gym” Kid Lykos and Lykos II. CPF also came out to a Backstreet Boys song! Lando is a short redhead who has really copied Amazing Red’s style. Black is heavily tattooed, and they have become regulars in the UK scene. It’s been a few months since I’ve seen Kid Lykos; his curly blond hair is longer than I’ve seen it before. Black and L2 opened. Kid Lykos entered and applied a headlock and kept Black grounded. Danny hit a standing moonsault at 2:30.
Lando entered and also hit a standing moonsault for a nearfall. Kid Lykos snapped Black’s throat across the top rope at 4:00, and Lykos Gym took over and kept Danny grounded. Black finally hit a DDT on Kid Lykos at 6:30. L2 and Lando tagged in and traded forearm strikes, with Lykos II hitting a DVD for a nearfall at 8:00, then a second-rope moonsault for a nearfall. Black hit a rolling Koppo Kick in the corner on Kid Lykos, then a Styles Bomb for a nearfall.
Black hit a mid-ring Spanish Fly on L2, then a flipping kick on Kid Lykos. Kid Lykos hit a running kick into the corner for a nearfall at 10:30. Lando hit a double Poison Rana. Blak dove through the ropes and hit a stunner on Kid Lykos. IN the ring, CPF hit a team swinging bodyslam on Lykos II and pinned him! That was really fast-paced, energetic action.
“CPF” Danny Black and Joe Lando defeated “Lykos Gym” Kid Lykos and Lykos II at 11:21.
8. Raven Creed vs. MARZ. Two new faces for me. Raven has appeared on a lot of shows recently in Europe, and she wore a straitjacket to the ring; she looks like a mental case with her head half-shaved and green streaks. MARZ has long black hair, wore a blue one-piece, and she’s of average size. Basic reversals early on, and Raven bit MARZ’s wrist.
Raven backed her into a corner, hit some chops, then a snap suplex for a nearfall at 3:00. She grabbed MARZ’s left wrist and twisted her fingers, then stomped on MARZ’s elbow. Creed hit a fallaway slam, and she was in charge. MARZ hit a sit-out powerbomb for a nearfall at 6:00, but she missed a Swanton Bomb. Raven immediately hit a German Suplex, then a DVD for the pin. Solid. Raven got on the mic and called out Rhio.
Raven Creed defeated MARZ at 7:33.
9. Man Like DeReiss vs. Gene Munny vs. Charles Crowley vs. Drilla Moloney vs. Ricky Knight Jr. vs. Simon Miller vs. Chris Ridgeway in a “Thunderbastard match” to become No. 1 contender. Is this a gauntlet match? Or a Rumble-style match? (Oh, it’s an elimination match with Rumble-style intervals.) DeReiss and Munny opened. Ricky Knight Jr. joined the match at 2:00. He got both guys on his shoulders and hit a double Samoan Drop. Ricky ripped off Munny’s tape over his nipples, and he bit his nipple!
Drilla Moloney entered at 5:30, so we have four in the ring, and Moloney hit a series of chops on everyone. Moloney got some rollups on DeReiss for a nearfall. Simon Miller entered at 8:30, and he hit a Bulldog Powerslam on Knight Jr. However, Ricky got a kendo stick, and he repeatedly struck Simon’s left ankle with it! Chris Ridgeway entered at 11:00, so we had six guys in the ring. He hit a Dragonscrew Legwhip on Moloney, then one on DeReiss. Ridgeway hit a Yes Kick on Munny for a nearfall. Simon sold an ankle injury and was helped to a corner.
However, Ridgeway placed the ankle on the ropes and hit a knee drop on it! Ridgeway twisted Simon’s ankle, and Miller tapped out at 13:17. The match continued without a break. DeReiss hit some European Uppercuts on Ridgeway and a flying back elbow, then a 619. Moloney rolled up DeReiss for a flash pin at 15:04! DeReiss was shocked! Munny hit a series of chops on Ridgeway. Ridgeway got a rollup and pinned Munny at 16:09. Music played, and Charles Crowley finally entered the match as our last entrant. So, we have a final four.
Crowley cleared the ring, and the crowd went nuts for him. Moloney and Knight got back into the ring and stomped on him. The three heels took turns chopping Crowley and playfully kicking at him while he was down. Crowley hit a springboard fadeaway stunner on Moloney for a nearfall, but Ridgeway pulled Crowley to the floor, and they brawled. They brawled into the darkness away from the ring. Crowley pushed Moloney face-first into the ring post at 22:30. He hit a top-rope moonsault to the floor on the three heels.
Crowley got in the ring and dove off the ropes, but Knight swung a chair and nailed Crowley at 23:34! The female referee disqualified Knight, but Ricky hit a few more chair shots across Crowley’s back before leaving. Moloney and Ridgeway traded roundhouse kicks to the chest; it appears that Crowley was down on the floor. Moloney snapped Ridgeway’s neck between his ankles, but Ridgeway hit a brainbuster, and they were both down.
Moloney went for the Drilla Killa, but Ridgeway avoided it. Knight hit a standing powerbomb for a nearfall, but again couldn’t hit the Drilla Killa. Crowley snuck up behind Moloney, rolled him up, and pinned him at 26:41! So, we’re down to just Ridgeway vs. Crowley. Chris hit a running Penalty Kick for a nearfall. He hit some open-hand slaps to the face. However, Crowley scooped him up and hit a spinning Fire Thunder Driver (piledriver) for the pin! A really entertaining elimination match, and the crowd was thrilled with the winner.
Charles Crowley defeated Man Like DeReiss, Gene Munny, Drilla Moloney, Ricky Knight Jr., Simon Miller, and Chris Ridgeway in a Thunderbastard match to become the No. 1 contender at 29:00.
Final Thoughts: An entertaining show. Yes, Kingston-Jacobs was as hard-hitting as advertised. No flips, no dives, just two guys chopping and punching each other for 20 solid minutes. Mix in the blood and some drama, and you got a pretty entertaining match. I really liked CPF-Lykos Gym, and that takes second. The main event was well laid out and takes third.
The women’s match in the second half of the show should have been in the first half of the show. MARZ was fine but clearly not in the upper tier of female wrestlers, but again, this was my first time seeing her. I have never been a fan of Hauser, largely because he had a full 50-50 match against Tom Lawlor and beat him in MLW. He does a much better job as a chickenshit heel.
A long show, coming in at 3 hours, 40 minutes, but again, there is a 20+ minute intermission you can zip over.
